Since this blog is called "Blog Worthy Moments," I thought of sharing some of my recent moments I want to remember that are on my mind currently, however random they may be.
1. I love how interested Caleb is in "Land Before Time" things lately. He loves the shows, playing with dinosaurs, and imagining to be a dinosaur himself. Today and last night, he roared at everyone he passed and told them about "Sharktooth" (which is really Sharptooth). Everyone thought he was cute!
2. I love how Ethan asks me each morning whether I get to pick him up from school that day. On the three days a week that I get to, he gets such a huge smile on his face knowing that.
3. I love how Ethan and Caleb are starting to have little conversations all to themselves lately. They are playing together more and interacting like little boys, instead of a big boy and a toddler. The other night they were telling jokes to each other, and they were cracking each other up, even though the other didn't have a clue why the other's joke was funny! (Of course, their joke punch lines are still in the eye of the teller in these cases! Ha ha!)
4. I'm really liking Yoga and Walking for my workouts lately. I think running was burning me out. My life is already busy and hectic enough, and it is nice to slow down and breath. I used to think Yoga wasn't "hard" enough, but I like having the time to just focus on relaxing myself and getting all stretched out and destressed. I think this will be my winter workout plan.
5. I am so thankful for my wonderful husband and I love him so much for so many reasons. He just knows me and what I need at any particular time. I love seeing the relationship he's developing every day with his sons and how he makes sure to give them the time they need and want with him every single day, even when he has other responsibilities pulling on him.

Niece Wendy's 1 Year Old Birthday & Family Visit
We went to VA this past weekend to celebrate my niece, Wendy's 1 year old birthday. We had such a good time together, just always too fast as usual! I wish my sisters and I lived in the same state so we could see each other more often, but for now we will be happy with the several times a year we get to visit. At least we are all on the East Coast!

Mid October Update
I can't believe it's already mid-October . . . it's been a while since I posted! I guess we've just been busy with LIFE!
Caleb enjoyed getting to go to pick some apples on an apple farm with Mama Bailey a couple weeks ago. Ethan was in school, but I think Mama and Grandpa Bailey are going to try to take another trip sometime when Ethan can go also.
We celebrated Papa Brisken's 60th birthday with a surprise birthday party at one of his favorite Mexican restaurants last Thursday evening.
Mama Bailey's birthday was this past Saturday also, but she was in Ohio visiting her Mom and siblings, so we didn't get to celebrate with her on her actual special day this year.
I've been taking turns with my friend, Melanie, and each of us teaches a 3 year old preschool lesson every other week for Caleb and her son, Elijah. I usually teach my lesson on my day off from work. We decided to do our own preschool at home this year instead of having Caleb in the church preschool, for various reasons including him not being fully potty trained yet, and so far it's been working out pretty well! I'm enjoying this special time with Caleb. This past Friday was one of my days to teach, and for one of the activities I had the boys write their letters, numbers, and shapes in a pan full of rice, which they seemed to enjoy! And believe it or not, there were only a few specs of rice outside the pan on the table and floor when we were all finished . . . it could've been a huge mess, but they both followed my instructions very well and kept the rice inside the pan! :-)
I ran in a 5K race this past Saturday with my neighbor and friend, Ashley. I was able to make my fastest post-highschool time since I've gotten back into running again - 34:34. Ashley and I had been running together pretty regularly in the summer, but haven't been able to keep up as heavy of a running schedule since school started for both of our kids, but we still decided to do this race together. I'm glad we did it!

Everyone has still been enjoying getting to attend Ethan's Saturday morning soccer games. A couple weeks ago it was soccer picture day, and between our camera and Mama Brisken's camera, we were able to capture some cute soccer photos of Ethan and his team too.
