First Day of School - 1st and 3rd Grade

The boys started back to school on August 20th, and we are already back into the Fall routine around here.

Ethan started 3rd grade this year, and his teacher is Mrs. Moroz.  Ethan is still not a big morning person (neither am I! :), so it was a bit hard to get going on the first day.  He also seemed a little more nervous going in for the first day than he usually is.  This is the same school he's gone to since kindergarten, but he was still more anxious than other years.  I think he just had such a fun summer, and didn't want it to end.  Now, after two full weeks, he is doing great and likes his teacher and his class I'm happy to say!  3rd grade is already a LOT harder and MORE INVOLVED with the material he's learning.  Not sure I'm ready for this, but here we go!!!

Caleb started 1st grade this year, and his teacher is Mrs. Satterfield.  We were thrilled to find out that he got the same teacher that Ethan had for 1st grade.  She is wonderful, cares so much for the children, and does a great job teaching!  Caleb is doing great so far with all the new material he's learning in 1st grade.
