Caleb's Field Trip

Caleb and I had a great time together on his field trip with his 4K class.  We went to Hollywild Animal park.  Caleb even got to have a deer lick his hand and pet a possum!  What an adventure! :-)

Riding Bikes

Caleb and Ethan enjoyed riding their bikes outside on this windy day!  It was Caleb's first time riding his big boy bike with training wheels.  And it was Ethan's first time riding his bigger bike without any training wheels.  The videos below catch some of their first time around the culdesac doing so.  We are so proud of them!

What have I been up to?

What have I been up to?  LIFE!  Life with 3 kids and working again is just a whole new experience!  Especially since I have been out of the baby stage for so long.  I am still nursing Alaina, so learning how to pump while away at work has also taken some getting used to.  It is hard still, just being away from her.  I am thankful I only work part time, and I'm doing even less hours right now than I was before I left on maternity leave.  But even working 23 - 25 hrs per week is hard to fit in!  Just thought I would try to catch up a little while I have 15 free minutes before Alaina's next feeding.

Ethan had an awards ceremony at school for the 3rd 9 weeks grading period end.  He received straight A's again, so proud!  But even more proud that he received a Character Award again, for being a good role model and leader in the class.  Only two children in the class were chosen for this, and Ethan already received it one time at the 1st 9 weeks, so I didn't expect him to receive it again.  What a great accomplishment for him!
