I can't believe how fast the time seems to be going by with little Lainey. We have started calling Alaina Lainey for short sometimes. She is just so sweet and such a content, good natured baby most of the time. She is consistently going 8 hours between feedings from night to morning, which is so wonderful! She is also such a social butterfly! It's amazing the differences I can see between her and the boys at this age, just in her talking! She doesn't nap that great during the daytime, but I think it's because she doesn't want to miss anything that is going on. As long as she's happy, and sleeping at night, I'm okay with that! :-) Here's pictures of her in her outfit from her Auntie, Aunt Megan. She is getting so big!
Here is video of her talking away!

Field Trip with Ethan
I was happy to get to go on Ethan's field trip with his 1st Grade class to Strawberry Hill. We picked strawberries, learned how strawberry plants grow, ate lunch. had their homemade icecream, and played an hour in their field. I got a nice sunburn to show for it too! :-) I'm so thankful to be able to attend important things in my kids' lives, like field trip chaperoning.
Easter
We had a fun Easter Weekend. The boys enjoyed dying Easter Eggs.
Daddy hanging out with his girl!
Ethan and Caleb found their Easter baskets!
Mommy and Alaina on Alaina's first Easter
This was one of our attempts to get a family picture :-)
The boys enjoying some icecream
Now we got everyone looking at the camera at least! :-)
Papa and Mama Brisken with their 3 grandchildren
Grandpa and Mama Bailey with 3 of their grandchildren
Pretty Alaina in her pretty Easter dress, complete with yellow bow! It's fun dressing up a little girl!
Mother's Day Tea
I had a lovely time at Caleb's Mother's Day Tea with his 4K class. He served me my plate of food and drink, like such a gentleman.
I can't believe his 4K school year is almost over, it has been so good for his social skills and academic skills. Although he has done great, I am still a little worried about him being the youngest 5 year old in his class, since he doesn't turn 5 until August 30th. But we have decided to go ahead an start him in kindergarten and see how it goes next year. He seems to really benefit from having the school schedule and routine, so maybe it will be no problem at all!
