Ethan had a great first Upward Soccer Game this morning. It was beautiful weather and a lot of fun! Daddy, Mommy, Caleb, Mama & Papa Brisken, and Mama & Grandpa Bailey were all able to attend and cheer him on. Ethan's team scored one goal and the opposing team scored one goal. Pretty good for 4 and 5 year olds! When we asked Ethan what his favorite part of the soccer game was, he said getting to run through the tunnel at the beginning when they called his name out before the game. He must've felt like an all star athlete! The picture in the upper left corner is of him running through the tunnel. Caleb enjoyed playing on the playground at the game (thank goodness for that!) and playing on his new motorcycle bike he got last night for his birthday. We look forward to more soccer games this season!
It looked like you guys had such a FUN day of soccer!! I have fond memories of playing soccer when I was Ethan's age. I hear upward is a really great program!! I think your Saturdays are going to be full of fun this fall :-)
